a little bit of spotting is normal, that you would actually call "spots." If you start to bleed lightly, you need to go in. Any cramps? That would be another reason to go in--spotting with cramps.
Trust your instincts--does something seem wrong?
At this point the baby is large enough to be pushing on just about everything.
Good luck.

I was 12 and a half weeks pregnant when I found out. I was getting sick all the time and couldn't figure out why. I was on the pill, so I thought I was safe. I had 2 periods, or so I thought during that time, so I didn't think I could be pregnant. I was also on anitbiotics too long and they had cancelled out my birth control. When you spot at the very beginning of a pregnancy it's just your body getting rid of the old stuff. No worries. Go see your doctor to be sure. Don't just take advice from us Yahoo peeps.

As with everything that seemed serious during my pregnancy, I went to the DR. or the ER. Spotting in week 25 is probably harmless, your just really growing, and your insides are smushing and stretching. But... you do need to go to the DR. ASAP just to make sure that this is all it is. A bad situation could be your placenta tearing away from your wall, probably not, but you need to be sure.

If you're bleeding bad enough to soak one pad an hour I'd call your doctor immediatly. Also, if you're worried, call, that's what they're there for. I've been where you are and have 2 healthy children and 1 on the way. Good luck and I hope all is well.

Is it brown or red blood? And, if it is red blood, how much?
Regardless, you will want to contact your doctor to let him/her know that you are spotting.
They may have you go to the ER to have an ultrasound.
Has the baby been moving more or less during this time period. Dr. may ask you that question as well.
Above all, try not to stress out right now. Good luck!

Spotting is normal throughout pregnancy.
Of course, if you are ever worried, call your doctor or stop by for a quick visit. Even if it's nothing, it'll help you sleep at night knowing that you're fine.

Call your Dr and see what (s)he wants you to do - he knows your medical history and if you have any complications etc.
FYI: Some spotting (very light) is ok, even to be expected with certain activities etc. Discuss this with your Dr or his nurse because this may happen again and you should know when to worry and why or when to forget about it and have icecream!
Good luck! Wishing you & yours to be well!

If you have a gut feeling that it's not normal, go to the doc. And especially if you start getting cramps and heavier spotting. Hope the little one's alright!!

It depends. If your pregnancy is normal, than, yes, spotting is usually normal. Some women spot through their whole pregnancy. However, if your pregnancy is high risk, not normal, or this concerns you, call your doctor. He/She will be able to tell you if it's normal or if you need to be concerned.
