Eep? Not sure how to do this. Need definite math help

if x=1 or 3/2 ==> equation=0
if x>3/2 ==> x-1>0 and 2x-3>0 ==> equation>0
if x<1 ==> x-1<0 and 2x-3<0 ==> equation>0
if 1 x-1>0 and 2x-3<0 ==> equation<0

equation = 0 if x=1 or x=3/2
equation > 0 if x>3/2 or x<1
equation >0 if 1
If I am correct though I havent done maths in like 6 years so.. lol

dont u set both equations equal to zero.

x-1=0 2x-3=0
x=1 x=1.5

then substitute? 1-1=0 0,2(1.5)-3=0 so, then the answer is false i guess, bcz they are equal to zero, not less than.

Im not sure, im long pass these types or equations, so my memory is not too sharp. Sorry, if i was no help.
