My guess is you're asking what to do if your lawn soil is too basic. If that is right the best way to lower the pH is an application of Soil Sulphur (Sulfur). It takes time to work just like it takes time for limestone to raise the pH. So if you can put in down in the fall and let it work over the winter, especially if you live where you get snow. The snow melts slowly and moves the Sulphur through the soil slowly so it is more efficient.
