you might try an magic eraser (not a joke) they get rid of a lot things including water line marks on swimming pools and spas. Also try Murphys Oil Soap

If it is just a spot or two I would get a q-tip and a drop or so of acitone. Just lightly rub it until it is gone. If it does strip the wood. Boil a tea bag and while still warm rub the grounds into the wood. It should blend it without having to stain it again. Good Luck

You can check with any office supply store and see if they carry a spray can of graffiti remover.I'm not sure of the brand name but it works GREAT, especially on Sharpie markings as we use Sharpies for marking electronics equipment that we work on and we are constantly erasing and re-marking equipment with the Sharpies.

I went to www.sanford.com and followed the links to Customer questions and finally to stain removal. They recommend that for permanent ink stains on wood, you use "goof off". You can get this at Home Depot, Menard's and possibly at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

try (tsp) try sodium phosphate ,if its main ted scrub with a scrubbing sponge and repaint suggest you look into http://www.crayola.com/ they have suggestion for removing stains/marks ,also thay have washable products ,
