life IS risk...steve irwin would be the first to tell you that. if you never risk anything, you will never acomplish anything either. as for meeting steve...tough, i guess. if you want ot be like him, you will have to step out of your safety zone and take some risks. (steve irwin took calculated risks, based in his knowlege of animals and their habits. he didn't just jump into risky situations without thinking. neither should we.) good luck, and cheer up. death is inevitable. steve irwin wouldn't want you moping around for him. he would want you to succeed and live your life all-out!

Wow, people sure are nice here on Yahoo! Answers...

Whether you know someone personally or not, if you respect them and they pass away unexpectedly it can be just like you lost a friend or loved one. As with any other death, it will take time to heal. Remember the good things that he did, and don't feel like you can't mourn just because you never got to meet him.

Although you might not like taking risks, if you love animals you can help them in other ways. You could become a veterinarian, or volunteer at a local animal shelter. There are many ways you can help animals without doing the exact same things Steve Irwin did. Anyway, there can only be one Steve, just like there's only one you!

I'm sorry to hear that. Please don't listen to any of those dumbasses that insulted you. They are just heartless morons, who know nothing about the human trait of compassion. I understand how you feel. Many people are deeply saddened by Steve Irwin's death because he was such a great person and we feel like we know him personally, because he was always so genuine, always a real human being, never a fake plastic superficial idiot like (sadly) so many people are these days. He will never be forgotten and will always be admired and cherished. I wish you the best, and I'm glad he has inspired you. Just continue to do your part in making this world a better place, because that's what would truly give him joy. And I hope you can meet him in another life. Take care.

I am sorry to see that you are sadden by the lost of Steve Irwin. It's o.k. to grieve for someone that you looked up to. Getting over death can be difficult. Consider seeking counseling to help you get over Steve's death. Ambugirl also made a good suggestion about donating to wildlife in memory of Steve.

to all you guys who make fun of this situation , we wont have to worry about meeting up with YOU in an after life , coz you`ll be in limbo . Have you a decent bone in your bodies ???? This man above all was a passionate human being . He had no sides to him , no hidden agendas , and he adored his wife and children . I didnt watch his wildlife shows so much , but he was a man i would have given a lot of time to for his attitude and compassion for both man and beast !!!! He was loveable and fun , open and honest , and more than a wee bit sexy !!!! I have been gutted for the last 3 weeks , and probably will be for a long time . Of course i realise that waht his family feels is far far worse , and maybe my feelings are not as relevant or justified , but it doesn`t make them go away !!!!!!

Then do what you can to support his cause from where you are.

Steve's death has meaning, many more are aware of his consevation efforts, he did all he could with his life and lived it to the max, more that many of us will in our lifetime. He slept very little and crammed so much into his life. Honour his memory by doing something for the animals, even rescuing cats or dogs or birds, he loved all creatures.

WoW!! I think you should report every single nasty person who answered you.

Steve Irwin was an AMAZING guy and i can tell you now that a lot of people in Australia are still devestated. News readers can still not get over his death, He is a legend to Australia, I know in America you have your movie stars, But we had Steve Irwin and i feel so proud he was Australian!! He was not fake! he was real he didn't spend thousands, even millions of dollars on dressing up or buying fancy houses, He spent thousands on buying land to help save wildlife!!

When Elvis died there was massive shock around the world.!!
For Australia this is our " elvis " .. Steve Irwin..
Because his death is still so real it is hard to get over,
Some of you americans should be ashamed. There were many posts about Richard Hammond and how you all loved him , I as wlel as most of Australia did not know him. But did we tell you to get over it and it was his own fault for driving so fast?
NO. BUT YOU BLAME STEVE IRWIN FOR HIS OWN DEATH. WELL SHAME ON YOU.
Poor Bindi hey? the poor little girl, who feels her Dads death is her fault because he filmed for her instead of filiming rockfish for his own documentary ..

Half of you are SICK sick SICK!!! He was a hero and an inspiration to many.. So when your favourite FAKE movie star dies, Or your FAVOURITE DESIGNERS.. and no one gives two shits. YOU remmeber what you wrote to this little girl..!!

Rest with the Angels Steve xxx

Wow Haribo!! are you sure you are not on a desert island you thick brick?
Well i wonder why, Australia is a number one tourist venture? i wonder why so many people love Australia, I wonder why we have one of the best islands in the world!!
I wonder why we not only creeks, damns, waterfalls, deserts, mountains, sand dunes, beaches, the barrier reef and some of the most beautiful places on earth..

LMAO! you say we are convicts!! there is more crime in America and the U.K then what there has ever been in Australia!

I Am proud to be Australian, I know you just envy our lifestyle,
Your a sad, miserable human being

you say you miss him so much but all everyone tells you is that your being sad and need to get a life as you didn't know him.
if you really admired him you could start by donating money to wildlife charities and maybe from there you will become brave enough to start doing More to save the animals on the planet.
other than that if you think you feel bad think of his young family
