yea I try to be helpful with helping people by giving them clothes, food and provide transportation when I can

I volunteer my time to the school system. This year my kid goes to Jr. High and I am donating my time to help process magazine orders for the magazine drive. I also man a "family resource" center at the school. It is a place where parents and kids can come to get additional help on different subjects. There are games, computers, flash cards etc.
The 2 previous years were spent helping my kids teacher. I would grade papers, copy worksheets, assist with the computer lab. I would also help out with a program called "Core Vocabulary". They would have to read a list of words, usually about 30 words per letter in the alphabet. They had to read ALL the words correctly and define about 25 words of choice throughout the list. If they passed, they would get to go on special field trips. I would of course chaperon them.

Pay taxes. Donate to Senior Citizens functions. Give to Fire Department. Vote. Support the churches and school functions. I don't do much by way of physical assistance as I work full time. Try to buy as much as I can from my home town businesses.

I participate with ComforT pet's (an organization that visits nursing homes, rehabs,etc.) and Help out with reconstruction on homes for needy families.

where i live there are only 4 people ( i live in france) and I take my elderly french neighbour shopping in my car which she has never done before I also take her to the hospital and help her when ever she needs help. her family live along way away. all this with my limited french
