yes I am, and I work very hard at my enviroment of my own life too....

I created my own environment,I left home at 17,joined the military and went my own way.
i didn't mold myself into the plastic environment I was born into.
So forget about that theory ,it isn't for everyone.
It may be true for some people who never leaves the nest and ventures out into the world,but that is not true for me.
Although i do have a strong work ethic instilled in me by the people i was around when I was younger.
Both my parents,grand parents,and people in my neighborhoods were hard working class people.
I now have a government job making over 60,000 a year but work my butt off for it.

I believe that I was a result of a mistake my parents made years ago. There are 12 years difference in my brother and I so I think that I was a mistake.

I think a lot of success/failure does come down to circumstance. If you get along with your boss, or don't get along with your boss it can weigh heavily on how succesfull you are regardless of your skills or talents. i'd say a big part of how well you do in offices is how you are perceived.
