My goldfish live in a 2ft cubed household bowl in my house and fed regularly on fish flakes. I have two that are aged at least 10 years. How long can I expect them to still be swimming around?

the only goldfish I ever owned lived for 25 years and became into 15ins long! He became into in a 6 x a million.5 x a million.5 feet tank the final 10 years however and fed a numerous weight loss software. He became right into a prize at a honest and my Dad gave him the call 'fortunate' through fact when I took him homestead he mentioned, "that element would be fortunate to final the night". In a bowl they die rapidly through fact even however the physique seems to stop becoming the internal organs dont. they must somewhat in basic terms be saved in great tanks or ponds the place they might gain close to wild length and age..

They can live quite some time. The oldest goldfish ever lived for 43 years, so if we transfer that to human life expectancy, your goldfish should be in their 30s. If you treat them properly and they're living in a stable environment, they could live for another ten years or so.

most goldfish only live a couple months. some however, live a freakishly long time sometimes up to 10 years. but who even wants a goldfish that long (im an "animal lover" but i dont want a GOLDFISH that long) but, you'd be lucky if it lived for a year!
