it means that some1 else has died, like when people say some1 brought the farm its an old saying.

The song sounds pretty cryptic. Another one bites the dust would basically mean that another one died or failed. But in the context of the song, it seemed very meaningless.
One idea though, is that the song was made with a hidden message. When it is played backwards, it says "it's fun to smoke marijuana". Use something like Audacity from Sourceforge and try it yourself.

John Deacon wanted to write a song about cowboys. He originally had lined up a song in which it tells a mini story of a cowboy in each verse, and at the end each of the cowboys dies-- "bites the dust". he was originally inspired to write the song after hearing the phrase and liking it. Once the band started to record the song, however, it adopted a more adrk kind of beat, not suiting for the lighthearted fun cowboy lyrics, so John decided to change it. - so to answer your question, it is from the lyrics of a song by Queen, meaning 'to die'

Someone who "bites the dust" is dead. So when Queen sings "Another one bites the dust" it means another guy got killed.

When you say that someone has bitten the dust, it means they've died. What the actual song is getting at, I have no idea.
