(please dont recommend any in birmingham this is too far out)

If you know the postcode go to multimap put in postcode and you can view nearest hotels/bbs

Try Smooth Hounds ( http://www.smoothhounds.co.uk/ ) as I have always ended up with good quality B&B's.
