Dr. Paul Bazalgette Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church of Blue Springs, MO
During his high school years Brantley distinguished himself as a leader among his peers, representing Christ with his dynamic witness on his public school campus. During his junior and senior years, he lead a Bible study for high school boys, motivating them to be faithful to a weekly 6:30 a.m. commitment. He also lead the on-campus Club 121, a prayer, Bible study, outreach ministry sponsored by YouthFront. Under Brantley's leadership, the weekly meeting averaged 80 high school students meeting in their public high school. He took an active leadership role in his local church.
As a high school student, Brantley's speaking ability and the power of his message was noticed by many youth leaders, who began to ask Brantley to speak at their youth events. His charismatic personality, his obvious passion for Christ, his sense of humor coupled with his deep biblical insight combine to make Brantley a dynamic messenger to his generation. He has spoken to church youth groups, youth camps, youth evangelism rallies, Youth for Christ Impact rally, and to an audience of 7,000 at a D.C. Talk concert.
He is a 2002 graduate of Baylor University. Brantley was involved in leadership positions with the Baptist Student Ministries throughout his college years at Baylor University. Most notably, he worked with Freshman Council; a ministry that involves nearly 200 students annually in small group discipleship and large group worship. As a sophomore, Brantley led one of the discipleship groups and as a junior helped create the coordinator position which oversaw the direction of the ministry as well as discipled the small group leaders. He also spoke often at the Monday large group worship times throughout these three years.
Nothing has happend to the man, he is still living.
