Yes, Guinea Pigs tummies turn yellow when they are lazy and lay where they pee. I have a few of those. Don't panic and for crying out loud don't listen to these other people and use baby shampoo. Either use bunny shampoo or a puppy oatmeal shampoo.

Put a towel down in the bottom of your kitchen sink. This is the easiest way since you have never done this before. You don't want his feet to slip and have him freak out. Run the water and make sure it is not too warm and then run it through the sprayer. Talk to your pig the whole time. He is probably going to try and make a leap for freedom so be prepared. Get him all wet either with the sprayer or under the faucet.

Once he is wet, lather him up with the shampoo (NOT BABY SHAMPOO, the pH is made for people, not animals so it is not good) and pay special attention to his tummy. Keep talking to him, soothing him, rubbing him, lathering him up. Make sure not to get it by his eyes and keep water away from his ears.

Give him a thorough rinse and make sure all the shampoo is rinsed away. Set him on the dry towel you have ready, he is probably going to give you a big shake. Then wrap him up in it and grab some treats.

I like to keep them wrapped in a towel and laying on me for at least half an hour. My heat warms them and you can rub them with the towel to remove excess water plus they get treats which makes it seem not so bad.

Then I get another completely dry towel and give him another rubdown. When I put him in his cage I make sure his cage is covered by a blanket so there are no drafts and that he has a little washcloth or something tucked into his house to snuggle in. I don't use blow dryers because you can burn them and they tend to scare the little guys.

It is a very easy process. Pigs get bathed all the time they are not afraid of water, they are worried about new experiences.

Good luck, it will work out ok!

My kids used to have them and I bathed them once every 2 weeks. DON'T use baby shampoo, it's still to harssh for them and they'll shed after that. Use Baby Wash instead, off brands of that is fine, sometimes $1 a bottle. Take the baby wash and use it directly on the guinea pig like a shampoo, towel dry a little and put him into the cleaned cage. This will work and is gentle to they're skin as well.

bathe him with baby shampoo in the sink with out alot of water. don't let him get chilled. i usually wrap mine in a towel and hold them until they are dry. if i have to bathe them when it's cold, i will lay a heating pad on low under the wrapped up guinea pig. make sure he is wrapped up good so he/she doesn't get burned from the heating pad.

He needs a bigger cage. Guinea pigs don't just lay in pee. Or you need to clean the cage more often.

Bathe him in a shallow container of warm water. Dry him real well. Use the blow dryer if he will let you.

ok i have a guinea and it does the same thing what you need to do is go to pet smart and they have a specil sope for you proble you apply that to a soft rag and you very softly rub it on your guinea and in the spot it really need it clean the cage the same day and get a bigger cage and that should be the best thing that you can do

I'm not sure how to give them a bath but we litter trained our guinea pig....Just get a litter box like for a ferret and put some yesterdays news (unscented of course) in when you find some of his or her poop put in the box and it will eventually go there..........good luck
