China has a single time zone for all its people.
It is based on the zone that SHOULD apply to Beijing, the capital of China.
Since this zone includes all the Chinese people, PLUS anyone else who is geographically in the same time zone (the same 15 degrees of longitude) as Beijing, it is almost certainly the most populated time zone.

i would have definately thought china, although it does span over several time zones.
