Angelina Jolie...long before I saw her on the Actor's Studio...and Mr. Cruise...
I can't watch either one...there seems to be something very, very wrong with the two of them. Like you are watching your kids play on the swings and nearby there is a dude standing and watching...he ain't doing nothing wrong...seems okay...but your inner alarm goes off anyway...
that's how i feel about these two...
they are probably not bad human beings...and I am not commenting on whether they are good actors or not...
something spikes through the veneer of the personas they use on screen...and I end up feeling creeped out.
Heebie jeebies and all that rot!
And I have no idea why...and I can'tgo back and watch their earlier films...like Eyes Wide Shut where Cruise was bloody excellent as well as in Born on the Fourth of July...or Girl Interrupted ...
I guess it is like footage of 911 or the Tsunami...certain images just do not belong in my head at all...and I don't have to be able to explain why that is...but just act accordingly...
