im not sure what you want, many people are aware of what they are consuming, as in how bad it is for them or the environment, and the long term costs and alternatives. Many are not aware, and some, like my gf and her family, who are hardcore bushloving republicans, may know, but think it is cool to not care, and even cooler to waste on purpose. If you need ideas, well, oil and energy is always a good topic, i just read a book called "the end of oil". You should read it, as it says, you live on the planet earth, read me.
