Oh my! I worked on this one for more than an hour. He was darn near impossible to track down. Godfrey Ermen was born in Holland about 1812 era. He took charge of the family business of a cotton mill in Blackfriars. He died in 1899 leaving a large fortune which was in trust for the support of any object deemed worthy of assistance.
