I am launching an auction website JUST for Indian community, So i wanted to know if it'll be beneficial enough or not when big guns are already out there like ebay..

I am launching an auction website JUST for Indian community for now. So i wanted to know if it'll be beneficial enough or not when big guns are already out there like ebay.. however mind you the look & feel of my creation is going to be alot better.

U may say that the website is for Indians only, but anybody and everybody from all over world might be interested to visit ur site for participating in auctions.
But yes India doesn't boast of any specific india related auction site. Please go ahead and do it. It may be very beneficial to all the related people.

i think that the indians r just visiting these websites like ebay! for checking round-figure prices of the commodities they buy. they don't really buy from the internet because they have a different mentality that they will be frauded and cheated and their ordered item will not arrive. although ebay! has more than 200000 itwems on auction, only 200 of them really sell in india! so i advise u not to open this website for indian but for the american community.

why only Indians? I am white and an avid collector of the Arts,
but I would love the Idea,you could bet it'll be a success, nevermind ebay, its something different,
PS I hope you do mean american Indians.
