The greeks were the first to spot this. They noticed that as a ship sailed out of harbour it gradually disappeared until all you could see was the mast. Likewise, when a boat returned the mast was the first thing to appear. They deduced from this that the earth must be curved - if it was flat the boat would just get smaller in the distance rather than disappear bit by bit.

It is flat! and don't let these so called 'scientists' with their fancy explanations fool you. When you get to the edge you simply flip round to the underside and carry on your way. As for the horizon effect its our eyeballs that are curved and over long distances it becomes noticeable. And no, it isn't gravity keeping you on the earth its the iron in your blood and the earths magnetism keeping you stuck on.
The moon is also made of cheese. (I haven't quite worked this one out yet but as god is my witness one day I will)

It's easy to believe anything isnt it!

Take a look at earth.google.com - there is a free version and you can fly to anywhere you want - then you will see that the earth is round - and if you are still not sure that you believe it, you can type in your own post code and see the cars outside your house - tell me if you don't like it - its a real 'wow' experience!

People who have sailed round the world haven't dropped off the edge?
