well, if it said Boo, then it is a ghost cow, and you can't see it for now, but it will come back and get you, so you had better watch out.. them ghost cows are the worst...

You probably spooked the cow, and she/he probably won't come out of hiding until she/he is calm again. Or possible she/he could've escaped.

lol I live on a cattle farm and stepping on them is never an issue. When they're laying down, my brother would sit on them. They don't really care if you step on their feet either.
