I am fond of a lot of Jet Li's work....Once upon a time in China was my first exposure to him and I found myself riveted by his ballet-like motion his speed and his accuracy...

Swordsman II which along with Brigitte Lin is a masterpeice in Asian films...and it remains one of my all time favorite sword and sorcery epics...

and then a run of very good films...
Fong Si Yuk
Tai Chi Master
The Bodyguard from Beijing
My Father Is a Hero

then comes Hero in which he was bloody excellent and really showed what a good actor he had become after all these years...

Then Kiss of the Dragon and Danny the dog...cool little stories with a kick...

and then Fearless.

Fearless is his best movie...hands down...
Jet is at the top of his game as actor...martial artist...human being...and it shows in every frame...
Masterful storytelling...unbelievable martial arts mayhem...and this movie is his swan song...and ode to China and its history...to the martial arts that has given him a vehicle to prove himselfon the world's stage...and a work of love to the fans who have supported him all these years...
This is his last martial arts film...and there could be no better film for him to exit the genre. Classic...the movie and the man...

I did not wait for the 'american release'...I never do...
I have had my Fearless DVD for months now. Links are below if you feel the same...

Not his Final Best... sorry !

Jet's Fearless action seems pretty much the same like the past 5 movies !. Though the story line differs greatly from History, it still seems very much Entertaining.

Jet's Best movie will always be "once upon a time in China Part 1" will always be his very best !

Similary to Jackie Chan.. most of their repeated actions get very tiresome after 2 or 3 movies...
