I asked because i do think that no marriage ever gets the opportunity to be a husband and wife children change the whole thing and then you are old when you finally get to be together everyone really needs to think before they have kids

Unfortunately my wife and I believe we were happier before having kids.

It actually really depends on the couple and how you weigh the couple's principle of happiness.
The joy of before having kids is somehow different. The couple get to enjoy the intimacy more since they are focused on just each other, plus the excitement and compromising adjustments with permanently living in and waking up with someone beside you, and many other quality time together.
But for me, it would be after having a children. Being a parent is a choice and is always a blessing. The marriage doesn't always work out as expected but the couple can always count on the personal happiness their little angels bring them (which most of the times is just by watching them sleep soundly). It can be a roller coaster bringing them up but they are all going to be worth it when they grow older and you know you have raised then well. They will always make your house a HOME.
Just the same, the quality of a happy marriage is not based on whether they haven't had kids yet or decided to have one already. As long as you feel you married the right person, you will always be happy in the marriage. =)

My wife & I had a great time before the kids. But after our second child something changed. Sex is amazing. Our friendship has become closer and we are enjoying everything that happens in our family of four.
It is very stressful and at times simply chaotic. But we are taking the journey together. And I wouldn't give that up for anything.

It depends on the individuals. My husband's first child is about to be born, he has my daughter as his stepchild, and so far he is so so so in love with our little girl and it just warms all of our hearts. I say happier. That is the way its always been in my family and extended families. We love kids and each other and understand that children are a blessing from the LORD.

yes and no It all depends on how old you are when you have the kids and the chemistry you have with your husband.I have been with mine for 6 yrs and have a 4 yr old but will be leaving him not because of the child but because of his screwed up family that I will never get along with.and because of him and I knew it was going to be this way when he started cussing at me and I only stayed this long because of our son,now I realize I'm only hurting him so goodbye husband::Hellooooo freeedom!

i don't see the point of marriage its just a piece of paper.
why bother having children, i'd be ruining my figure for life
and i would never have the freedom to do what i wanted without the burden of kids ugh lol
careers are more important than children
