No. This is fallacy. I have had very many male friends through my life that were just friends. No sexual interest for either of us. I would no sooner consider my male friend a sex object, than I would consider any of my female friends as one (and I am not at all bi).

my best friend michael & i became friends after a relationship and we've been best friends ever since and there has been no sex and /or attraction. so i guess yes you can be friends with a male
