Usually when you are in love that person does get the attention. Just remind her that you are there for her and that you miss her and would like to hang out sometime. It wouldn't hurt to remind her of what happened last time and that she should becareful this time as well. ~Good Luck~

Perhaps you need to realize that your friend is falling in love and it is natural that she put this person in priority. It sounds to me as if you are jealous of your friend's new boyfriend. Give your friend a break. School can always be picked back up at a later date and true friends will stick by her. If she lost friends over a boyfriend then were they ever really her friends?

I think that it is sad too, she is wasting her life even if they had plans to marry, she still needs a life. Maybe try to explain to her that if she got interested in herself, friends and her own life she would not be boring to him and he want drop her. A guy or a girl does not need a clinging vine nor do they want one..If she got busy with other things, that would even give them more to share. I;m sure if she stays this way, he will be bored to death with her and begone. Maybe if you explain that a guy likes a girl who is interesting she will snap out of it.

It is sad, but as her friend all you can do is be supportive of her decisions or lose her. She is still young enough to learn that even making him her top priority...she can still get hurt.

We learn and grow and that is what life is about, learning from our mistakes. Sooner or later she'll wisen up to the fact that men are not everything.

Sounds like she is a leech and cannot fend for herself. She needs someone to latch onto all the time. She really needs to work on her self-confidence and build herself up to rely on herself.

Really not your call. Just be there for her when he dumps her.
