You can make the argument for Big Ben as a real-life quarterback due to his performance in big games, and normally error-free efficiency. But in fantasy football its just about the numbers- not the win-loss record, so Palmer is by FAR the better option.

Looks at their stats last year- Palmer threw for over 3800 yards, with 32 Tds and 12 ints. Ben on the other hand threw for under 2400 yards with 17 tds and 9 ints (same number of TDs he threw in 2004) Some of it's the run-heavy philosophy of Pittsburgh, some of it's the fact that Big Ben hasn't played a full 16-game season without injury, but those things factor into a QB's fantasy value.

Carson is. Carson last year edged Roethlisberger slightly with a qb rating 0f 101 towards Ben's 98. But Carson is the force behind the bengals offense as u see with his 509 pass attempts to Roethlesberger's 268(Ben missed some games but he still doesnt pass as much as Carson) When U think about Steelers u think about their ability to run first then past. Roethlesberger is a good game manager, because of his defense hes able to for the most part play ahead in score. On the other hand Bengals success is on Carson, whenever Pitt's Running game suffers(not often) Ben isnt able to peform well under those circumstances.

They're still too young to make any real comparisons, but Roethlisberger's got a Superbowl under his belt, giving him a sure edge.
