I'm not sure, but realistically it doesn't matter whether he is alive or dead. Terrorism is an ideal and cannot be ended by the death of one man. To deal with the problem we must first look at the causes of the hatred and try to deal with that. Wars and retaliation through blanket bombing and indiscriminate attacks on entire nations because of one man only serves to validate the terrorists cause and push more people into its organisations. Just look at Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland as an example. Immediately before the atrocity the Provisional IRA was on its knees, numbers were at an all time low and they had all but given up. But the senseless murder of innocent civilians on that day validated the Republican claims of persecution by the British government and led to the largest enrolment into the terrorist organisation in the country's history. So take heed world, learn from our mistakes and STOP widespread attacks, classing innocent casualties as collateral damage and justifying increased religious hatred by relating it to 9/11 or 7/7. Look at the causes of hatred in the east, look at what the western superpowers are doing to these smaller countries and how cheaper clothes, accessories and petrol may mean an easier life for us but goes only to increase the hardship of people in these third world countries being exploited by big business and the politicians they 'donate' to.

No chance. They are making sure he stays alive as since he has gone then who do they have to frighten everyone into believing all the rubbish they are coming out with.

If he were, would it actually make any difference in the world? U.S. foreign policy would continue to inspire terrorism. Someone else would take his place. Big deal!
