Yes they are cool, but you really need to know what you are doing. You'd better get going on learning A LOT about positive reinforcement training.
How big is the area where you intend to keep it?
Have you done any research at all? Because it may not even be legal to keep one where you live. You might need a license.
The other problem would be the importation of wild animals that are prohibited from import due to the CITES Treaty.

You'd better do your research:

"We listed here regulations pertaining to non-human primate ownership in various US states. This list is not all inclusive and shall be used as a guideline only.

* 13 states require a permit for private possession of nonhuman primates.
* 9 states ban private sector possession of nonhuman primates.
* 5 states have partial bans [banning certain species].
* 2 states have partial bans [certain species]; permits required for
other species.
* 1 state requires being bonded for private possession of nonhuman primates, new legislation taking effect, see below.

STATES WITH NO REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIVATE POSSESSION OF NONHUMAN PRIMATES: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada (has new Legislation), North Carolina (new legislation is taking effect), North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin

STATE WHICH REQUIRES GETTING BONDED TO POSSESS NONHUMAN PRIMATES: Hawaii (See below on new Legislation) "

This is only a partial reference to the existing regulations.

Monkeys tend to be wonderful when they are babies, but unless you train them properly, you are going to have some problems when they mature.
It sounds wonderful, but the reality could be quite different for you.
Please rethink this and do your homework before you acquire one and change your mind later.
