I want to start a promotions company (music/art and literiture) but i am clueless anyone have any hints/tips?
I want to put on shows so i will need advice on this? I want to press books and flyers so i will need advice on this too?
Basically i want to promote anything creative! This goes for radio shows and tv shows too! Any hints/tips/advice/links and/or contacts would be great thanks.

congrats on the dream.
my first suggestion is you go to arts and craft stores...there are a lot of people there that make things,want to sell them but don't know where or how....same with music stores....start to build people that are looking for a place to sell.....
put some adds up in coin laundry places....as well as restaurants saying you are trying to build a company that promotes all the arts....you will be surprised as to how many people are interested in getting there work out there.
do you have the resources to do this? you may have to get a business lone from a bank that can help you build a business.
you will have to get a form for registering a new business and find a name for it....get a licence for selling to the public..again the bank can help you with that.
do you have a printing press? that's what you will need to press books and flayers.
that's all I can think of right now but I will add to my answer if I think of any thing else.
