The next number is 50
1+3+4=8
3+4+8=15
4+8+15=27
8+15+27=50
so on and so forth

8=1+3+4
15=3+4+8
27=4+8+15
Each term from the fourth onward is the sum of the three terms immediately preceding it.
The next term will be 8+15+27=50

That is the sum of the previous three terms
Thus 27+15+8 = 50
