i recently saw an advertiseme in a newspaper for a creative zen. its 4gb, and its also the picture one. very good price too.the problem is it says it stores 1000 songs. does that mean i cant store more than that because it has memory for pictures aswell? i wont have many pictures on it because im not a picture person. and also do i need spevcial software on my pc to download music for creative zen or can i download music from any websight?

Just take the iPod. They are better in my opinion. The new ones are really cool, and they are great. You can't have 1000 songs if you put photos on the Zen. It all depends on your songs size in the end.

I have the Creative Zen....only 1gb tho......I really like it....I have about 280 songs...still have open memory......it is very user friendly.....and priced better.....they are virtually the same type of technology.....you just pay more for the Appple I-pod name

if you just want to listen to music and not care what anybody about your mp3 player you should the zen, but if you want to show off and listen to music take the i-pod. my opinion is that both are good but you should take an i-pod.

ugh PLEASE PEOPLE DO RESEARCH BE FORE SAYING THE IPODS BEST!!!! they are infiorior players!. creativ ehas better quality cheaper and more features than the freakin crappy pos ipods! i mean creatives a worlwide leader in sound tech. i mean apple cant even make an mp 3player right. let alone have grreat quality. please i advise you to go with creative. funner to use. one mroe thing. also it depends how bog your songs are,and the screen is prettier than the ipods. and soom effin much cheaper.

ipod, this should be a poll b/c it mainly depends on preference, hold each of them and use each of them for a few minutes, pick whichever one feels right in your hand.
