Yeah, me! I would help others thats for sure, I always do everything I can and being generous has hurt me in the past by giving all I had to others, but they did need it more. I would say I wouldn't give it all away. I would make sure my kids went to college and we had a reasonable place to live, but I would be ashamed to have a huge house and such.....because I don't beleive in taking up alot of space and being wasteful. I would however make sure that children who needed an education, housing, and food would get it. I would start in my local area and then also help in a place that an advisor helped me find if I had that kind of money.

Oh course. I don't have a million dollars, and I help the poor now. You have to always help the poor. Help comes in many different ways. You can help them to help themselves. Encourage them, show them the way. Use the money in the correct way, so it isn't used up. The money has to make money. In this case, for the poor.
If I won the hundred million dollar lottery, I would help the poor.

My family, my friends and neighbours who've been really good to me. Kids who are really cool but come from problem homes...I'd give them a trust account provided they be good and finish school they can use it for an education get $500 on Christmas and their birthday before that....so they have something to aspire to. That would give me something to do too. :~)
And no I wouldn't work...screw that...I'd work only to put my money to good use and and investments and make sure my kids get everything they need. Don't want them too spoiled by the riches either so they would be limited to what they get unless I croak of course. :~) But I'm sure I would get them what they want..I just don't want them lazy and feeling they never have to aspire to do anything.
I would take my time in finding a cause or charity to donate too. Maybe I would start my own foundation. Maybe I would bring orphaned children over and start an orphanage here where they could be adopted. That would indeed be a good cause.
Maybe work with other foundations to create hospitals and educate the poor in third world countries.
When you have that kind of money, they all come knocking so I'm sure I would have no shortage of good causes to pick and choose from.
And I agree with Jedi....we can all help the poor right now (and I do too)...no matter how little we think we can do now...combine it with everyone doing something and VERY MUCH can be accomplished.

Of course. Even if you gave half the money to charity, you would still have left 50 million $! That's more than enough for you and your family to live in luxury for the rest of your lives. If I won even one million dollars I would still give a part of it to the poor. Then 70% of what's left I would invest so they would produce in turn other money. That way I would have both money and happiness because god takes care of those who do good deeds :)

YES, I would but not by charities, I would choice who I think is the most needy. But the Church would be my first to give to...No one NEEDS that much money for it will turn even the best to evil...This is why it is said that money is the root of all evil...
