hy are compostion notebooks black with white spots

Perhaps so you can spot them easily on the desk? Or so that you can idle away boring classes filling in the white spots selectively to make a picture?

It's a question you really have to ask of the stationery supplier!

Because black ink, is by comparison, dirt cheap to that of colored ink. They can mass produce the comp books and sell them for .25 or less a pop. If you used colored ink the price would go up.

It was developed as a point of reference for racists to argue over... As in: Black with white or white with black?

and it is also camouflage for really smart cows.

scientists used them at 1st and the only reasoable color was black and white
