.....people make such good music? Take Michael Jackson for example. He was the king of pop, but also a child molestor who bleached his skin white. And Elton John was a great pianist who made really good songs, but he was a drug addict and a homosexual. How does this work?

Oh do you have proof that Michael Jackson is a child molester?? Last I knew he was found not guilty by a jury because there wasn't a shred of evidence!! Also he didn't bleach his skin, he has Vitiligo!! And what does homosexuality have to do with being nasty or making good music?? You are just a bigot and you need to grow up!!

♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

BTW Michael Jackson is STILL the KING OF POP!!

Bernie Taupin has written the lyrics for Elton's songs, but Elton has written the music. The way I see it, in order for Elton to write such beautiful, wonderful music, he has to have so much passion in his heart, and it shows in every song he's ever written. Yes, he's been through a lot in his life, and as far as the drugs and alcohol, he's found his way through it and cleaned himself up. I admire him very much for that. He's raised alot of money for many charities, especially his aids foundation. And as for him being gay, that's just the card he was dealt when he was born, and I'm glad he's found someone to be happy with. His life experiences has shaped his music over the years. He's an artist, and he "paints" with music. I understand this because I'm an artist that "paints" with pastels, and what I feel shows on paper. Don't be too quick to judge, because he's fought hard and won the battle against his addictions. Thanks, Elton, for your beautiful music!

Half of the artists and pop singers are gay. Maybe they are a little more sensitive than straight people. Maybe it is easier for them to open up to music. Who knows.

Drugs help open up the mind, look at Jim Morrison, he made the best lyrics. the Stone Roses, the Rolling Stones. It are the nasty ones who make the best music so I think you are right on that point. Elvis..Janis Joplin. Jimmi Hendricks, even the Beatles were on acid. For all I know even Abba were on uppers and cocaine.

It is the influence of the entertainment business, the omnipresent eye of the public and the pressure of tight schedules and performing and I am not only talking about the music industry.

I think you may have to change your views. Some music is written to reflect life experiences and personality but others are just creative songs.
Also, who are you to judge these artist's experinces and personality? Do you know them personally? I'm not excusing child molsetation or the use of drugs but I'm not going to stop liking music for these reasons.
And why have you included homosexuality as evidence of being a nasty person?
Can't you just enjoy the songs for what they are and what they mean to you instead of being so critical. Your music choices are your own.

well, not all artists write their own music...take Elton John, for instance...most of his songs were written by Bernie Taupin.

michael jackson was never proved to be a child molester. thats just your opinion. and maybe its because there's good and bad in all of us and you shouldn't judge a person by their mistakes. that includes you, sunny jim. and btw, being homosexual isn't a crime.
