You need to contact a lawyer. In many states even if you give up your rights, you are still financially responsible for your child. The only thing that would be accomplished is your right NOT to have any legal say over anything involving the child and no visitation.
Also, you need to establish paternity first. If she slept with you in one night, I can only imagine how many others there are.
You may want to get checked out , too. Who knows what you have passed to your wife while you were being selfish and unfaithful.
Either way, you are going to have to tell your wife. You will not be able to hide having paternity tests, or money spent on a lawyer and everything else that is going to happen.You better fess up before she finds out another way.

If you give up your rights, then you are no longer responsible for that child. You messed up when you cheated on your wife and now you got her pregnant. I am sorry, but someone needs to get a hold of you and beat the crap out of you. How can you just practically throw your own child out of your life? i dont know about texas, but in louisiana, even if you sign away all parental rights you still have to pay child support until the kid is 18 or graduates from college. sorry. all i can tell you is call an attorney who offers free consultation
