Unfortunately what Openpsychy said is true in most cases. It also becomes even more difficult when children come into the picture. My husband was never a romantic person (movie style romantic). But he does romantic things in his own way. I'm home with the baby, and he comes home after working long hours and makes a fancy dinner. He never complains if something isn't done, or if the house is a mess. He plays with our son, changes his diaper, feeds him his solids... Things like that can be viewed as romantic, especially if you don't have to ask the person to do it. He wants to spend time with me and with our son. I know a lot of people who don't even have that much!

There is lot of romance in the air till you decide on your spouse. I am afraid once you make a decision on your spouse then first thing that happens is that romance goes out of the window.

I always flirt with my husband and tell him how handsome, beautiful, sexy and amazing he is. I tell him I have "such a crush!" on him. Sometimes when he kisses me I go all weak and shudder... he likes it, especially since I am sincere. I tell him he is my king and he ESPECIALLY likes it when I answer him from time to time with a "yes, sir." I think that may be his favorite thing and guess what: costs me nothing.
Most romantic thing I DO is to put on something very comfortable and sexy and give him a candlelight pedicure. I think that is why he decided he had to marry me. ;-D

I once said to my ex wife that she was my ANGELIGHT. She was my beautiful angel from above and the one that holds the light on this pathway through life. Some people say it sound a little corny but she melted when I said it to her, and she still knows that I hold that true. I now own a candy business called, "ANGELIGHT".
