Would you reccomend this degree as a good and solid BA or is there better options?

I've met a number of people from Oxford with this degree -- but not from other schools (it may be offered here in the US -- but not at most schools). I have been really impressed with all who have it. When I asked them about it, I got the impression that it is considered one of the better degres to have.

Sorry to be vague - but it really depends on what you want to do as a career - or do you want to go on to higher education?

I have a BA in political science - now I do technology consulting for a living because there are not many 'political science' jobs outside of teaching.

It does sound like a good solid liberal arts BA, but it won't train you for a specific job. Other options depend on what you want to do when you complete your degree.

My dad got a 2:1 at Oxford in this and he did OK, good background degree for the Foreign Service or Teaching.
