During a press conference broadcast Sept. 24 (conference probably was made earlier in the week), Dallas Cowboys coach Bill Parcells kept referring to something he called the "Dukane incident." What exactly was he talking about?

Parcells is giving his players the bye weekend off, but he cautioned them about staying out of risky areas.
For players headed back to their college campuses, Parcells recounted last Sunday's incident in which five Duquesne University basketball players were shot after a school dance.
"I just try to make them conscious, just the normal stuff about not going where they're not known or not welcome," Parcells said. . . . "I hope the majority of them will stay, but I'm sure some in close proximity will go back to their campuses."
Parcells said injured players will come in for treatment this weekend. But the rest have the next two days off, which is a sign of his trust in them.
"I trust them pretty well," Parcells said. There's always some knucklehead. But basically I've got pretty good kids, and I try to warn them."

bill Parcels. i'm a pats fan yet i'm ill of the "genius of belichick." Belichick grow to be a crappy HC till finally he have been given to the Pats. Ask a browns fan approximately bill Belichick. seem at Tuna, fulfillment with greater effective than a million team, and finally a miles better choose of expertise and better at "procuring the groceries and making the meal" there is not any previous best for a head coach. they arent on the sphere enjoying soccer.

Yeah, and that's probably no coincidence, seeing as how Keith Davis was shot during preseason. (I think it was during preseason)
