My ex has recently been keeping me from seeing our kids. I pay my support monthly while she does nothing and refuses me visitation. I have already proven she was guilty of child abuse, but the DA refused to have her charged. All I want is to see my kids and everyone tells me they can't help. There has to be someone who can help! Anyone?

Refusal to allow visitation is a crime, same as non support
Tell the DA to do his job and file the papers- if he refuses
contact the state attorney General and the bar association!

If the court has layed out visitation she's violating that. Take her *** back to court and get a lawyer with some friggin' teeth. You need to document everything from whatever abuse is occurring to when she denies you visitation. Right on down to the reason she gives. You have a right to see your children! No ifs ands or buts! Don't let her play your kids against you. Go to child protective services and ask what you can do as a father. Dads get so screwed in the court system today. This coming from a women! I don't see how women scream for equal rights and then in the court system they're are the ones playing helpless! You love your kids, fight tooth and nail! Dirty if you have to! Good luck!

What she is doing is a crime. What the DA is doing is not right. You have a valid court order that must be followed. She is trying to hurt you and control you. Your paying your support, which is commendable.
I would force the DA to do his job. If you still get no where try your state attorney general. Also if you can afford a new attorney get one. One that specializes in family law. Or most states have a free legal advice group, depending on your income they may be able to help also.
She doesn't see that she is hurting your children also by denying them the right to know their father. As for the abuse, I hope that the courts see the error of their ways and not dealing with it. Hope all goes well, Good Luck!!

If you are paying child support and if you have court ordered visitation rights go back to your attorney and let him handle the mess.
