Hi, I need to clear off some space on my computer. My daughter just turned one last week and I have thousands of pics of her on here since she was born. I am just nervous about burning to CD because I don't want to lose them forever. I know how to save them to a disk, but I have a few other questions.
About how many digital pics can a disk hold?
Once I save to a CD and delete from my computer, in the future can I put the CD in and save certain ones back to my hard drive?

As far as how many pics, it depends on how large they are but dont worry, your pc will let you know if the disc runs out of space. You can also move them back to the pc just by copying and pasting. You might want to make two copies if they are important pics!

my cd holds about 150 pics but if you save to a dvd instead of cd you could probably hold 500 pics or more.
yes you can put them back on your computer just copy and paste or select seveal and drag and drop or even right click with your mouse on the pic and chose "save to" option

You might also wanna try to save the picture on the internet. Use Kodak picture sharing or some other webpages that offer you with that service. Backup is important!
