Christianity and Islam both did horrible things, many many years ago. Christianity has since settled down, while Islam has behaved like a little child killing people over cartoons and murdering nuns who YES, did forgive before her death (She did not die immediately)

In fact, while Islam still preaches death and destruction of nations, we have people 'apologizing' for saying 'insensitive statements'. This is so ridiculous. We are pussy footing around while islam gets away with MURDER.

Just a reminder----Neither Christianity nor Islam did one evil thing-EVER. It was PEOPLE that committed those evil deeds. It is people that makes up religions. People formed the religions and people did this or that and people did not do this or that. Notice how the people that practice Islam react to negative comments about their religion. Then notice how people that practice Christianity react to negative comments about their religion. What do you see? Do you see 2 peaceful groups of people or only one peaceful group? Which religion do you think has the most responsible leaders? It's time we stop giving religions a bad tag. Religion is only an organized group of people.

Christianity, islam and Jeduism are are based on different versions of the bible. it should be compared. Islam is just another religion. They not getting away it.....people are trying to stop them. Every book is open to different interpretations, its just sad that pple took something thats supposed to be good, and change it into something horrble that does promote murder. I know a lot of muslims that try to live a happy faithful good life by trying to please thier god. They dont smoke, drink. or anything like that. killing is the last thing on their minds. There are always the extremist that sees things differently. It is a cosequence that comes with any religion... Islam is fairly new also. basically u said it. christianity is just settling down... eventually, Islam will do the same.

Christians have settled down? So it was Muslims who invaded Iraq on false information? The mostly Christian soldiers over there aren't getting away with murder?
a.fricker, you're saying US soldiers killed only 15 people in Iraq? Where on Earth did you get that idea? For those of you keeping score, the number of civilian deaths in Iraq resulting from the US led invasion is somewhere between 43000 and 48000.
And of course that doesn't make it okay for Muslims to kill 3000. Although 9/11 actually happened first, so the real question is whether those 3000 deaths excuse the invasion of Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with them.

Neither religion is evil. It is the people that are doing things AGAINST these religions that are evil. Neither permits killings of innocence, in fact both preaches peace and respect. So those who murder are actually unislamic or unlike-christians.

I am far from believing in anything even close to an organized religion, but they all pretty much say sin is sin. People put down others and their beliefs so they can feel better about themselves.
...Same reason Jerry Springer is so popular.

christians still want to live in a country where there are second class citizens who are not allowed the same rights as them.
They want to remove my right to worship or not worship whoever I please
All life is sacred they bleat but are pro-death penalty which is state sanctioned murder
They forget that Jesus was a liberal and that if he returned today they would hate him for his beliefs

i believe when you talk about the evils of christians, you are referring to the actions of the roman catholic church during the middle ages...roman catholicism and christianity are quite different...the protestant movement stemmed from the desire of christians to remove themselves from the roman catholic church...and if you brush off my statement, by simply saying, "same thing", then you are as ignorant as your question...get your facts straight
