Does anyone remember this American horror show? It was shown on TV in the late 80s - I think it was on channel 3 (or ITV1) at 9.00pm? Each episode told a different story. My guess is that it was probably made in the late 70s/early 80s.

I remember very few details but it started by showing forked lightning going across a night sky. A white light would then trace the outline of a man's face, then lightning would flash again and light up the features of the face. It also had creepy synthesiser music.

I remember in one particular episode in which a coach of people ended up stranded in the desert and they send a football player to run off alone to find help.

I'd really like to find out any information about the series - in particular what it was called, and if it's available to buy anywhere?

Thank you!

Remember it very well. It was called Terror in the Night. It was a program I watched where they showed Different Horror flicks such as Frankenstein, The Wolf man, The Blob, Etc. Loved Lon Chaney in some of those movies.

The Twilight Zone?

well tales of the unexpected had a music box type music and a girl dancing, so doesn't sound like this, the twilight zone had more of a stars and space and a der, der, der theme, so could be Night Terrors

I think it is Creepshow. I always loved those movies. There was also one similar to that called Tales from the darkside. Hope this helped.
