Wow! You must know right away, I do not work for this site
and I didn't see your first question and did not go to your link. I'm not sure what vaginismus is? I've heard of or am at least aware of most female problems. I have never heard of this, but even so, it sounds like you were treated unfairly on this site. I am somewhat new myself, I've been here about 2 months I guess. I have never been treated rudely in any way. I actually have found this site to be very informative. I think if you stick around you may find some topics that you enjoy talking about. I've written down vaginismus and will research it later today. It sounds like someone said you were molested... Wow! Sorry, but there's sicko's on every site.I havn't had anyone act like that to me. Give this site another chance.

To answer your question: people here can be rude because of the anonymity. Evidently they feel it's a safe place to vent their venom. There's no excuse for it, though.
I don't understand why people answer a question merely to get 2 points. If they want points - if that's the only reason they're a player - then doesn't it make more sense to compose a thoughtful answer and go for 10 points?
But I also have to wonder about your question. You seem to have found a detailed answer elsewhere...so why did you post it here in the first place? It's a provocative subject and you know there are small-minded people who are going to post a smart*ss reply. I think you have to expect a percentage of those in a forum like this. On the other hand, I've gotten lots of useful information here and even made some friends - so don't give up! Just ignore the morons!

So sorry, definitely wasn't meaning to be rude, just being straight forward. And I'm extremely glad to hear your condition is not cause by any trauma from molestation. "Vaginismus is considered a sexual dysfunction. It is a complex condition with several possible causes that may result from past sexual trauma or abuse, other psychological factors, or a history of discomfort with sexual intercourse." Though statics show that more than half of the people who suffer from sexual dysfunctions were in fact molested as children....sad but painfully true.
Your earlier question was in fact poorly written, and easily misread; that's the reason why you got so many shocking answers.
Word of caution, you can't have thin skin and be asking questions on yahoo answers....you never know what you are going to get in return. It takes all kinds to make the world go round.

Most of the population has no concept of what vaginismus is or the heartache it causes. A better forum for your vaginismus questions would have been through Yahoo groups. There is one for vaginismus sufferers to support eachother - women who have the same concerns and feelings that you do.
I suggest you try there, where members are monitored and their answers are more sensitive, than here where any Tom, Dick or Harriet can answer, without understanding your condition.

People on here have nothing better to do or they are too young to understand that some people are generally asking for some invalid answer from someone out there who may be able to help.
In regards to your bacterial vaginosis- it is very unpleasant, it is not a sexual disease, some women just have it in their bodies, it can't be passed on during sex. My advice is this, BV is causes when the natural pH balance of you vagina is upset, this may be causes by sperm ( if you suffer alot from it, it is best to use a condom), tight clothing or if you wash alot down you wash away the natural discharge that helps keep your vagina clean. Try only washing once a day and try using a cleansing bar instead of soap. You can get a tea tree cleansing bar in Salisbury's I have not used it personally but a friend swears by it. Good luck sorry that some people have nothing better to do as some of us really do enjoy helping someone out with a problem. Good luck.

I agree with the people who did reply to you. What do you expect when you don't even use spell check or edit your question? It looks like you are fourteen years old! How to you expect people to automatically know what vaginismus is? You should have explained this in your original question. Of course if people don't know what you are talking about--and your question looks like you don't even know what you are talking about they are going to get judgmental! Learn how to use spell check, edit, and use proper punctuation, then people might respond differently!
You could ask me this in person and I'd still give you the same response. You can email me if you'd like a lesson is writing proper sentences or IM me. I don't care! Yes, I tell it like it is on and off the internet. Sorry--that's just my personality!

I am sorry that people are being rude to you, but this is the way this site is. You have to ignore it because, some of these people have problems and they do alot of talking behind a keyboard.
Do not worry about those idiots. It has happened to me too, what you should do is report them. This is what I do, I have even have rude people send me mean comments and I did not even respond to them because they are looking for attention and they are not going to get it from me.
You should goto a doctor so that they could explain to you what to do about your problem that you are experiencing. (Good Luck)!!!!

people are just rude, period. they don't think of others feelings, they may think it's funny, it may give them a quick two second laugh, and a few points, but they don't have the audacity to think more than that. don't worry about them. worry more about the serious/helpful answers. i wonder if there is any surgery or therapy you can do for that? maybe you should ask, or maybe you should look it up on the internet. i'm sorry i can't be more of help on this issue, but don't orry about others, they're just immature.
i hope everything turns out well for you.

This place is gathered by all the people in the world who decides to come in and take a look.
I would prefer to accept plain and straight forward answers, and would just hafta do my best to accept them IF they're kinda rude...
Sensitives to things said would mean that...you're not ready to accept any kinda answers?
Have an open mind on the questions and answers here...and if it's really crap, try to ignore them...
Nothing will come up even if we "bzzz" them,ay?
