my mouse is 3 yrs old and looking good, she's a bit slower that's all. She has a small bald patch above her tail from a bite she received from a male mouse when 6 weeks old.

2-1/2 years is real good for a mouse - they generally don't tend to live long. Hard to say what is causing bald spot. Does he lick or chew it?

you're able to end breeding a woman Mouse at with reference to the age of 8 or 9 Months. yet you could breed men for as long as they stay. regularly a retired Mouse is purely a Mouse it incredibly is previous the age for her to have babies accurately without and extra desirable danger of something going incorrect.

It has the symptoms of being RINGWORM: It is in its old age now because the life expectancy of a moust is 2-3 years old.. but the bald spot....Bald areas of skin, sometimes crusty as well, which spread out (often but not exclusively in a round pattern). Caused by ringworm, which is HIGHLY contagious and can be very difficult to treat. Humans can catch it too. See your vet at once if you suspect it.

Most mice, hamsters and gerbils live to be 2-4 years old. He's probably just started to loose some hair out of old age but theres no reason to worry unless he seems to be in some sort of pain.

He seems perfectly healthy. But he IS old. Just take good care of him and give him lots of extra attention. He probably needs it.

its just natural with age in animals. you know whats normal in your pet, so if in doubt see a vet who specialises in small animals, or find a site for mouse health etc.
