i am a heterosexual female with no bisexual tendencies. i just don't think it's fair ir society. my personal view..

2006-09-24 04:00:11 · update #1

why do i think it's unfair? because it keeps women in a lower status. i don't like being a sex symbol, and i don't understand the cruelties that are sometimes inflicted on gay men. it is a huge double standard.

Not only that but there is becoming a prevalence of attitude amongst young girls that they should also become bisexual in their quest to attract a mate. Don't believe me check out some of the dating programs designed to entertain breeding age females.

Ever wonder 'why' a woman takes a man's name when they marry? This is because it implies an ownership over the female indicating her role as property to the male.

It entertains the male libido to see females together.

In a slave structure society the slave undergoes a strange psychological directive to be 'pleasing' to it's owner. A whipped dog will crawl upon it's belly to it's Master. It will feign and fawn for his attention.

Now I am not saying that that is the reason a person becomes a lesbian, no I am not saying that at all. But it is the reason that males like 'picturing' two females together and why so many women are turning to bisexual relationships. (By the way, I am pure heterosexual, as yourself).

1. No penetration. Since there is no penis involved, it all seems more like foreplay than actual sex.
2. More women- For many a straight man, the only thing better than a woman is more of them. Women in porn sites cater to these images. They would be very appealing sexually in singles. In pairs, they amplify the appeal. Thus men grow up with this idealized notion of lesbian love as two stunning women with huge breasts pleasing each other.
3. Potential threesome: A lot of men who are perfectly okay with threesomes involving two women will go nuclear if either one suggested two men and a woman instead. This is because it is considered very studly by men themselves if they can `satisfy' two women at once. It is considered very `studly' to have more women fawning over him than just one.
4. The perception that lesbians are just sex starved women. I.e they are lesbians because they couldn't get a man to satisfy them- hence curable.
5. She has less inhibitions about sex if she makes out with her best friend.

These considerations, make lesbianism quasi acceptable. It is not lesbian sex per se, but the `hotness' of the said psuedo lesbian women that causes the shift of perception. Many men think they can convert them, see?

Male domination in society over the ages and currently have allowed for this hypocrisy. Ancient Greeks and Romans did not have the Christian/Muslim/Jewish homophobias. Most males are heterosexual, and majority rules.

From a heterosexual male perspective, lesbian lovers involve two or more potential sexual partners for the heterosexual male. This is considered a potential opportunity. There is no appeal, to a heterosexual male, with other males as a sexual partner, so two or more homosexual male lovers presents no opportunity, but could be a threat if they chose to rape the heterosexual male.

It's okay to be whatever you are, darling. Unfortunately, it's that old BS known as "double standards". It's just a hot mess! Most men love when two women are intimate with each other(maybe it's some kind of secret fantasy of theirs), but find it repulsive when who men are intimate. In my opinion, what goes on between two consenting adults(whether they're gay or straight) is no one's business.

I think that people do not mind seeing women together because women are sex simples, However when people see two men together it's a problem because men are suppose to be macho and into only women, not each other..

I personally do not have a problem with gay people at all, if this person makes you happy go for it...

I don't think it is fair. We are who we are and we can't change it. Sadly socitety thinks that women having sex with another woman is erotic and 2 men having sex is sick. Personally I feel that everyone has to find their niche in this life and do what ever makes you happy. This world would be a much better place if everyone could just be and live what ever way they see fit.

We live in a society totally dominated by males (right or wrong). As such, two women together seems sexy to some men. Two men going at it is thought of as nasty by most.

Societal norms also dictate:
Masculine personality traits are OK for women to have. Feminine personality traits are not OK for men to express. Hell, men are not even suppose to cry or show emotion.

personally I think its ok to be either.. however it seems most straight men are frightened or disgusted by men who are homosexuals but rather interested by lesbians...

male homosexual act is more likely to spread disease because tissues are torn and there can be mixing of blood with other fluid (ie semen) this is how AIDS initially spread from human to human

but again personally I dont have a problem with it.. just wish people would have fewer partners what ever road they follow

My guess... most sexuality is judged by hetero male standards. (I know it's a sweeping generalization, but it still ... ) A hetero male don't mind thinking of woman on woman because he can imagine doing them both. But since he's hetero man on man isn't his cup of tea. Think of the message when it comes to sex in media and such, it's generally aimed at hetero men and such things rubs off on people whether they like it or not.

God the author, do no longer do blunders and isn't a God of misunderstanding. He created us male end lady. Male are attracted by making use of male and female by making use of lady because of our evil desires that's an abomination it may no longer were commonplace. because of human rights each human being must be commonplace with all his/her rights and wrongs. subsequently christianity is silenced by making use of human rights it truly is the voice of the international. at the same time as the voice of christianity is heard, that's condemned by making use of the international.
