check your user manual for the default codes for the password as often these are set in factory (usually 00000 or 12345) but if you enter wrong code you can lock phone competely barring from all use
A tip for default videos is they are usually of much higher quality than when you record one

No it is not used. When you try the security code, it should ask you to enter a default password. With samsung, I beleive it is 12345, or 00000. The default pictures and videos come with every phone. They are pre-set pics placed on the phone, by the Samsung, just like there are pre-set games. If you are still uncomfortable witht he fact you have a 30 day policy with the phone, take it back.

take it back, if someone used it before, they'll give you a new one, happened to me too, but with a motorola v557.
