Turning 50 should be a celebration for you!
If you have your health, and family then you are a very lucky individual. Some people just "think"
you should be depressed. Keep a positive attitude and ENJOY yourself. Have a Happy Birthday, I am turning 51 on Tuesday, the 26th.

I am 53 and to be honest turning 50 did not bother me as much as turning 30. I know that you have heard this before, but, it is just a number. Ask yourself, how do I feel? I do not feel like 53 and I don't look like I am 53. Maybe when a person turns a certain age they start thinking out death and how they are getting closer to it. Don't think that way, we all die. I know that is not what you wanted to hear but it is the truth, do not fret over the age thing. Keep living , have faith and enjoy life. Happy 50th Birthday.

CONGRATULATIONS! Why do you want to be depressed about turning 50? Do you normally get depressed on your birthdays. You may be manic depressive. I am 55 and I have loved being 50. I feel so much more clear and positive about my goals, and life. I love being 50 and I think you will too. 50 is just a number, it is what is in your heart that matters. Feel good about yourself and spread good cheer. Your life is great!

Lol hey don't feel depressed. I was feeling depressed when I turned 22 (couple of months back) and I saw how stupid that was. I should be happy that I'm living and in good health. And you should be too! I hope I make it to 50 and plus!

50 is only a number,,it is not what makes you the man you are, just think of all the experiences you have had and the how they have shaped you to be who you now are, I am not that far behind you and being a woman it should be bothering me but the way I look at things is ,,I have never allowed myself to fall into the trap of age and how I should be,,i don't act my age and I don't look my age ,,I have told my kids then when I do start acting my age they are to take me out and shoot me lol I live life to the fullest and enjoy everything ,,,you are still a young man who has a lot to offer ,,you should get out and have some fun

What is so bad about being 50?look at the bright side of life.if you keep on focusing on the negative things in life, you will end up depressed.
