Spray WD 40 on the rust and rub with 0000 steel wool. after you remove the rust polish with lemon oil. Not lemon polish. Then buff to a shine. Good Luck !

go to the store and by all the cleaners look for a brown bottle, i think it is called rust remover, it will take the rust off right befor you, it works great! you can use it in the tub ot sinks too.

Use home cleaners with a scrub brush to get it off.
