Coincidence, or a campaign trick?

He is a Republican Senator running for reelection. He made a racist remark to a black man, got him in big trouble. NOW, he announced that he's a JEW! Amazing.

It's no coincidence. It's called being a pandering politician.

I am too young to even know who George Allen is. I answered it there! Also, i wouldn't say i am republican(that is probably what party he aligns himself with), i just vote them more often. bye

EDIT: Very hipocritical. I agree, he is weird. He may be a Jew though, and people make mistakes, he might have apoligized about it already. Think about it, anyone here has probably said a racist remark, just sometimes they say it at the wrong time. All well, it could be because that he wants to prove he is not a bad guy by saying he is a Jew. Eh, who knows?

Who cares what he called someone from his opponents campaign that was following him around. My recollection is that there may be a grandfather or great grandfather on one side that may have been Jewish. Even still, having some Jewish ancestry has no bearing on whether someone is racist. The media jumps on any potentially racist comment that a Republican makes because it fits their mold that all Republicans are racists.

What about the issues? Let us stick to those.
