Well I live about 60 miles from Houston and Houston's crime rate is soaring. They've had a huge increase in crime within the last year. Every night on the news we're hearing about at least 1 to 2 murders. When I lived in Houston, I was scared to go out at night by myself. I have friends that still live there and one girl does any of her shopping on the way home from work. Once she's home she puts all the deadbolts on her doors and Will not go out at night for anything. She even has an alarm in her apartment.

It changes daily. you've probably never heard of San Bernardino or Riverside CA., but about 7 yrs ago San Bernardino had the highest violent crime rate 2 yrs in a row & it's becoming that way again. ( I think it's cuz we get all of L.A.'s thugs & drugs
