Nothing to do with soccer but something to think about!
I just wanted to share this poem in case we never meet again!
Peace and Love :
What is happening to this world?
Why are our peoples going mad?
Why do we kill our own brothers and sisters?
Why do we hate others so much?
What is all this for? What will we get?
More money? More power? or What?
What are we going to do with these,
tomorrow after everyone is dead?
What are we going to take with us,
after we are going to die?
Why don't we understand,
that love will help us live happily,
and solve our problems peacefully?
Why can't we love others
and try to solve our problems peacfully?
Why don't we keep our egos out for a while
and come down to the negotiation table?
I know,we all can do this,at every level.
So,lets all come together,to create a
beautiful and peaceful world thru true love!

I can see that this poem really has moved each of us in some way. If only everyone could see it and really see the true meaning behind it, we would have fewer disagreements around the Yahoo! Answers site and around the world.
It reminds me of one of the sayings I saw every Geography class last year: "When will the people realise that they cannot eat money?" There are so many conflicts resulting from our greed for power and money, that it seems this never strikes our minds at times.

Thank you, I was sitting there thinking it about things like this yesterday. I thought about all the bad things in the world, and how they are all caused by ignorance, or misunderstanding, and it's very depressing. But if we all realize that we are really the same, and celebrate the ways in which each of us in unique, the world would be a much better place. I wish all the bitter hatred in this world would evaporate because it just leads to sorrow and strife. This poem is very true, thanks for posting it up.

Nice post Juventina. Sums everything up. Many will read, but how many will hear. It would be a beautiful day if the world could truly be at peace with each other.

Sweet poem, I wish more people'd listen , or read rather, messages put right in front of them.
Seriously, we should all turn into hippies. I can just feel my hair growing long and my shirt changing to tye-dye already

I don't know if you wrote this but it is v.good, this is what i am talking about, love one another, stop the hate, stop the violence, help the needy. I am no saint but as westerners we have a lot, that is why we are able to have the time for trivial matters
God help this world, God help man

that is beautiful. I loved it.....you should send it into a magazine or news paper to see if they will publish it.
it needs to be seen by more people, at least more than those that have a computer and use yahoo answers.
your very talented.
peace and God bless to you and those you care about.
