Well 5th grader, it's nice that you like a girl. First you should focus on school work. Be friends with her, but that should be it. You don't want her to be too much of a distraction to you where it may effect your grades. Take up some extra curricular activities, that way your focus will be on something other than her. That's cute though. Have you asked your mom or dad? Try that.

hey im in the fifth grade to and i had the same problem all u need 2 do is tell someone to give her a note dat u wrote about her but act like your her secret admirer say on the note dat

~Did you know there is an age limit on Yahoo Answers? Anyhow, don't worry about your period, it'll start when it's ready and worrying about it won't slow it down. Girls are starting earlier now days. I was 9 when I started, and I hated it. My daughter started when she was 11, and she wondered why she was in such a hurry to have it, she didn't like it. Enjoy being carefree, instead of catching blood with pads and worrying about it leaking through your clothes, or on your bed.~

talk to her - don't be intense about it just talk to her about everyday stuff, once you have a conversation going - ask her if she wants to come to the ________ with you. have a plan it can be movies, library or mall. have a plan that includes for her mom or dad to come along too. if you ask her to movies, pay for her ticket, you can also make it a group thing if you and she share friends

just try to get to know her. start out being friends and work your way up.
be super polite to her and her galfriends, you'll earn her trust and maybe later you can take it a step further, when she decides if she likes you or not.
